Old Chicago’s Explorer Series is a program that celebrates limited-edition beers created in collaboration with some of the best breweries in the business.
To share these collaborations, we partnered with a team of talented videographers and set out to capture the craft and creativity behind the brews.
Giving the Collaboration a Look
We quickly realized that editing a few videos wouldn’t do the program justice. To fully showcase the uniqueness of the Explorer Series, we needed a cohesive creative identity and brand experience.
The project evolved into a 360-degree campaign, beginning with the development of a brand framework that could support and unify all visual content moving forward.

The Explorer Series Comes to Life
Once the brand direction was approved, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. I created a motion graphics package to elevate the documentary-style footage we captured at each brewery.
After producing a pilot, we made subtle but meaningful refinements that resulted in a style and tone that felt right for both the client and the craft beer audience.
The final result? A series of high-quality, story-driven videos highlighting three distinct collaborations, each with its own character but tied together through one cohesive visual identity.
